Apple’s newly introduced iPhone 15 series, which was unveiled at the beginning of September, immediately became the center of attention. However, the new series has been in the headlines for a significant issue for a while now. According to reports, iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max users are facing an overheating problem. Today, the reason for this problem has been revealed. Here are the details!
The reason for the overheating issue in the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max: Design!
Apple unveiled the iPhone 15 series during its event on September 12th. This series, which has excited users both in terms of design and features, managed to capture their interest. However, the new series has been drawing attention due to a noticeable issue recently.
The issue in question occurred in the Pro and Pro Max models of the series. According to reports, some iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max owners expressed concerns about their phones experiencing excessive heating. Following this issue, various reasons were put forward.
One of these reasons is believed to be the new A17 Pro processor, which is the first 3nm processor from Apple and TSMC. However, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo stated that the issue stems from the phone’s design, which surprised many people.
According to the analyst, Apple’s use of a titanium frame in the new Pro phones is causing them to overheat. Additionally, it significantly affects thermal efficiency, as stated in the following statement:
“The main reason for this is compromises made in the thermal system design to achieve a lighter weight, such as reducing the heat dissipation area and using a titanium frame. This negatively impacts thermal efficiency.”
